Talk with partners about the Qs. Try to talk about the unknown world as much as possible.
To lead in the topic of the whole reading

Let Ss be more familiar with the article and train their skinning skill.
II. While-reading Procedure
1.Fast reading: Ss look at the picture as fast as they can and
try to choose the right answer to Exercise 1. 3.Read the diary. Circle the correct answers to complete the sentences to exercise 4.Ss complete the conversations with the words and phrase.

Unit 7 The unknown world
ALIENS ARRIVE
Tina (醒來） at midnight. She looked (填詞） of her window and saw a yellow light in the sky. It suddenly （俯沖向地面） . She________(hear) a noise and ________(see)a red light.
（第二天早上） , Tina mentioned it______ her brother Tom. “（我確定）
something landed in the forest near the hills ________I heard a loud noise last night.” she said. “Let’s explore （放學后） .”
At 6 p.m., Tina and Tom reached（同義詞語） ； the forest. They heard some voices （說一種奇怪的語言） ______ , so they _______(hide) behind some bushes and （保持安靜） . Then they saw an alien!
