Unit 1 We’re still influenced by Confucius’s ideas.
一、教學內容分析:
本課是外研版新標準英語九年級上Module7Unit1的第一課時。本模塊的話題是圍繞名人、名著展開的。第一單元的對話是由貝蒂想參加一個網上有關名著的討論而展開的。貝蒂和杰克遜先生的對話提及了孔子和莎士比亞這樣的偉人,學生可以由此展開討論,總結自己喜歡的作家,討論名著,與大家分享感受。對話呈現了被動語態的用法,學生可以在真實的語境中感受這一抽象的語法現象。 二、學習者分析:
學生對本模塊的知識有一定的基礎知識,可以在已有知識的基礎上,豐富詞匯和語法,討論自己喜愛的作家作品,鍛煉綜合語言運用能力。 三、教學目標: 語言知識目標:
1. 功能:能夠談論自己喜愛的書籍和作家
2. 語法:掌握一般現在時被動語態的概念和用法 3. 詞匯:
基準目標:discuss, wise, review, influence, sense, make sense, by the way, suppose, well-known 選擇目標:thinker
4. 語音:能夠辨認并掌握句子重音
語言技能目標:
1. 聽:能夠聽懂談論人物或文學作品的對話 2. 說:能夠談論自己喜愛的作家作品

1. 通過學習,加深對中國傳統文化的了解,加強對西方名著作家、戲劇家及其文學作品的了解
2. 通過學習,樹立好讀書、多讀書、讀好書的意識,通過讀書,不斷豐富自己的學識

(一)Warming-up
Step 1 Play a brainteaser教師通過有趣的腦筋急轉彎和含有被動語態的提示引出話題book What has leaves but it’s not a plant?
Hints: It is used at class by teachers and students.
It is made of paper.
It has many pages. (頁= 葉leaves)
Step 2 教師展示三本學生熟悉的名著引導學生在book前添加修飾性的形容詞,引出great books
環節點評:
運用白板的拉幕功能設計了有關書的腦筋急轉彎,引起學生的學習興趣;在學生補充形容詞的同時引導學生更好地理解great book的重要意義,從而引入本模塊的標題。 (二)Task
Step 3 Task: “雖時光流逝,唯書籍不朽!”為了激勵更多的同學閱讀,校英文廣播站將開展一個訪談節目,主題是“你喜愛的偉大作家和他的作品”。如果你被邀請當嘉賓,你會如何介紹你心中的作家呢?
教師提問,要完成這個任務,這節課會學習什么?
環節點評:
在課前先提出task, 讓學生明確本節課的最終任務,教學過程的一切為此任務服務,這是個task-based,即任務型教學的設計。
(三)Experience

Step 8 Read again and answer the questions. What's Mr. Jackson's opinions about Confucius?
Do you agree with the opinion “Confucius was a very wise man”? Why or why not?
教師通過答案里出現的句式結構He accepts/thinks/supposes…/I can learn about…提問“用這些結構可以表達什么?”,引出opinion.
Step 9 Conclude the framework
How to introduce a great writer colorfully and logically(有邏輯的)?
教師通過之前幾個活動練習,讓學生自己總結寫出,brief introduction, works, influence, opinion, 框架補充完整。
環節點評:
學生體驗環節包括看視頻、聽力填表、閱讀填表、閱讀回答問題、總結框架五部分,這五部分的設計旨在通過不同的教學活動完成一個有關如何介紹great writer的框架。通過欣賞視頻,學生可以輕松而愉悅的找出要討論的三個作家和他們的作品;通過第一個聽力,學生可以總結出每位作家的基本介紹;通過第二個聽力和閱讀對話,學生可以總結出每位作家的影響,在此過程中感知被動語態的使用情境;通過再次閱讀回答問題,學生可以總結出如何發表自己的觀點,兩個問題的設置有梯度,第一個是簡單的搜素信息類,第二個是開放性的發表觀點類,在闡述答案的過程中能夠應用表達觀點的句式;最后,給出框架,學生可以根據以上表格的各列將框架補充完整,為下一步的任務輸出做準備。

(四)Practice
Step 10 Practise reading
兩個人一組練習對話的朗讀,提醒學生注意語音、語調和重音。 Step 11Retell the dialogue according to the form in groups.
小組進行復述,每個學生都要求發言。
環節點評:
在首先結合課文情景設計課堂教學活動,使學生依托原有的語言環境進行大量練習;學生再針對自身情況,在教師的半控制半引導下進行操練,不斷加深對新知識的理解,為進一步的真實交際活動做好知識準備。
(五)Use
Step 12 A talk show about great writers and their works
6人一個小組,完成一次脫口秀的展示。首先,根據小組合作理論分配角色,在每個小組成員明確自己的任務后進行練習,并選擇兩組進行表演。 1 student : the leader of the group

根據本節課的重難點設計4個翻譯句子,讓學生現場完成,教師進行同步批改,再統一反饋。
環節點評:
此環節是最后的應用,將本節課所學習到的框架和語言知識用到真實的任務中,在使用所學語言做事情的過程中發展語言能力,成為課堂的主人公,靈活運用語言這一工具表達自己的真情實感,同時小組合作活動能夠培養學生的互幫互助及合作精神。
